Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, -EM- (he/him) is a rope artist and whip enthusiast who is passionate about pushing the limits of what bottoms can experience. Since joining the scene in 2010, he has learned from various instructors, and has been able to share his passion for rope across North America and Europe. Nirathekitten (she/her) is a rope loving, latex wearing, often bloody, switch and self-player who joined the larger kink community in 2018. Now located in Western NC, she dedicates a large portion of her time sharing her passion for education and co-leading Asheville Rope Academy. Together they bring a unique blend of experience and humor to their presentations. With EM’s deep expertise and passion, paired with Nira's detail-oriented approach and strong focus on bottom education, they deliver engaging, informative, and organized sessions that keep students captivated.

Sassy: Sassy is a rope artist, community organizer, and educator who views bondage as a medium for connection and creative expression. Since beginning her journey over a decade ago, she has developed a style that emphasizes adaptive play and beautiful, intentional shapes while honoring the unique physical needs of the individual.

Sassy has a passion for education and brings years of classroom and kink experience, supported by her Master’s in Education, to her local community and conventions across the country. She is also passionate about building inclusive community, and leads a Boston-based organization that hosts regular events for her local queer and kink community. A lifelong student at heart, Sassy is constantly seeking new ways to grow, create, and connect through rope.

Hobbes: Hello, it's your friendly neighborhood tiger! I have been a part of the community since 2014 and still loving my journey. I am beyond blessed to have spent a life in education spending over 15+ years in public education and swapping over to kink and sex education for the last 3. I am here to share my experiences and knowledge I have gained through traveling and events with my greater community. My goal always is education and empowerment, so you all can have the most amount of fun at all skill levels!

Anya Demure (she/her)  is a rope bondage enthusiast, educator, and performer with a lot of energy and a lot of hair!  She relishes creating and embodying interesting physical shapes, and delights in enduring physically challenging experiences. For her, rope bondage is endurance, sex, power, community, vulnerability, movement, art, collaboration, and mutual experience.  She is dedicated to promoting bottom-inclusive education and presentation, and fostering safe, friendly, and encouraging learning environments.  She has been fortunate to teach, tie, and be tied in various communities in the US and abroad, but calls Brooklyn home.

Trixie LaPointe is a professional rope artist, dominatrix, performer and educator based in NYC and Philly. She has been exploring rope since 2018 and has been sharing her knowledge via classes and private lessons since 2021. She has been regularly seen working as a service top or performing at Red Pavilion, Le Bain at the Standard Hotel, House of Love, House of X, Tempo by Hit Me Up, Femme Fatale, Chemistry, Hot Stuff, Folsom Street East, Folsom Street SF, NDC and other events around NYC. She is proud proprietor of her own studio space La Maison Privée in Manhattan, where she holds various sessions as well as private lessons, small classes and events.

Marceline VQ is an internationally recognized shibari artist whose work challenges viewers with aesthetic and technically complex rope work. She engages rope from all perspectives—as a model in her own rope, with other models in her rope, and as a model in others’ rope—allowing for a deeper understanding of the medium as a creative and connective tool. She adores the sensory experience of being in rope, as well as the idea of becoming “human sculpture.” Her work engages in conversation with themes from quantitative disciplines including geometry and physics and with themes from qualitative disciplines including analytic philosophy and universal empathy. She has studied with shibari communities across the globe, and is classically trained in visual fine arts.

lex_red (she/her) is a rope switch and educator with over a decade of experience in the kink community. Her tying style emphasizes technical precision, dynamic suspensions, and creating ties that balance challenge with comfort and safety. She enjoys collaborative rope where bottoms are active participants in the experience and is passionate about helping others build confidence and skills through education. Whether teaching beginners or experienced practitioners, Lex brings a thoughtful, approachable style focused on communication, technique, and risk awareness.

ThatBigBadCoyote A professional switch, performer, educator, and leather artisan, Coyote is passionate about both creating and sharing within the kink community. Their interests span rope, leather, performance, and education, with experience assisting and teaching classes across a variety of BDSM topics while performing at events throughout the United States.

Soft Daddy (Liv, he/they) is a queer, transmasculine kinkster, rope bondage artist, and educator based in New York City. His practice centers fat and marginalized bodies and people, rooted in the belief that all bodies belong in rope, and works to make physically challenging, aesthetically driven rope both accessible and collaborative for anyone who wants to experience it. He has performed and taught across the U.S. and internationally, including Hit Me Up NYC, Folsom Street Fair Bondage Stage, Twisted Windows SF, and Tension MTL. His approach to teaching mirrors his approach to rope: pluralistic, hands-on, and communication-based creation of intentional containers for exploration. As a true switch, Soft Daddy brings the perspectives of both top and bottom to his teaching, connecting the relational skills of communication and trust with the technical skills of rope.

Olivia (she/her) is a rope bottom and educator based in New York City. She has been a practicing rope bottom for more than three years, bringing a bottom-centered perspective shaped by her love of being in rope, pushing her limits, and doing hard things while looking hot. Her approach to presenting is grounded in lived experience in processing pain, navigating risk, and developing the communication skills needed to make intentional choices as a bottom. Olivia brings curiosity, humor, and a willingness to get uncomfortable into her practice, using her own experiences in rope to help others better understand the physical and mental realities of being a bottom. Olivia has taught "Pervy Partials" at Kinbaku Miami and AirFlow at Coil & Cord in Brooklyn, NY with her partner Nina.

BetwixtBlushes and TheDude have been tying together for over ten years. They can often be found at Denver events partaking in challenging scenes with a lot of smiles, giggles and and few death threats thrown in the mix too. They enjoy dynamic rope scenes with a lot of movent. They also really enjoy understanding the reasons or the “why” behind the choice they and others make in rope. They have taught at various kink conventions across the nation both separately and together.

Creative Mayhem (he/him) has been practicing shibari for over 15 years, tying primarily in a Japanese style. He is passionate about both the form and function of rope and has studied, presented, and performed internationally. 

While pandoradreams has taken a bit of a hiatus from the rope community, her love of rope, teaching, and planning epic events has not evaporated. Since 2013, pandoradreams has been a part of creating Denver Rope Bite, Ropegasm parties, Rope in the Rockies 2018, 2018, and 2025 as well as multiple weekend intensives over the course of 8 years.  She has instructed with Denver Rope Bite, regional cons, and Studio Friction, both as a curriculum instructor and instructor of day-long advanced rope intensives.  She has experience performing in multiple Denver venues and creating rope art to be captured by some of our talented local photographers.  Her teaching style revolves around thinking outside the box, adaptation, and developing creativity. She is excited to get Rope in the Rockies attendees’ creative juices flowing!
