Description

Have you ever been outdoors and wanting to do a suspension and there are no low hanging trees branches? But the only trees are either at an angle or just tree trunks. Ever go to a dungeon and there are no suspension points, see now hard points... but they do have a stripper pole and/or a structural column? Ever go to a party and there is an unclaimed piece of bamboo no one is touching and you just wanna suspend someone! Well this is the class for you!

This class will focus on suspending people on asymmetric and vertical structures that are load bearing. We will explore how having more suspension points affect the shapes we are used to making in the air. We will also explore how traditional upline lock offs perform on larger surfaces and how some techniques do not work.

Prerequisites

basic upline knowledge and mechanics. A number of previous suspensions performed. The ability to receive feedback from the rope bottom being tied. Rope that is in great condition, and reinforced up lines are strongly recommended. This is an intermediate to advanced rope class.

This class is open to those with rope bottoms and self suspenders. You can also practice these techniques on inanimate objects in substitution of a human body during the class.
