Rhythm [rith -uh m] noun-movement or procedure with uniform or patterned recurrence of a beat, accent, or the like . . . often done with rope. Bring your rope and your dancing shoes . . . in this class you will tie to the beat of several different styles of music. Whether you are interested in public performances or just want to tie in sync to the dungeon music rhythmic tying is a fun skill to develop. This class is suitable for all skill levels since you will decide what to tie based on where the music takes you. During the class you will have an opportunity for three different rope scenes while tying to three different styles of music; a slow and sensual set for a floor based scene, followed by a faster set for a standing scene (can you tie with your bottom moving?), followed by a final music set where you tie anything you want within your skill level (floor, standing partial or full suspension). Tying to music is not a skill easily taught, but rather a skill best learned thru practice. With that in mind, there is no formal lesson plan, just lots of time to experiment, practice and watch . . . and unlike a Super Bowl halftime show wardrobe malfunctions are encouraged (with consent of course).

A couple of pieces of rope and the ability to tie a single column tie.
